Hmmm. Other than poker and trucking needs, I've actually gotten to the point where I'm ready to give up on the internet. There are cool things here, but I find myself caring less and less.
Technology is good, don't get me wrong, but I find myself yearning for simpler things. I see and hear about all the new tech that's out. I bought a new phone the other day, a basic Sanyo 3810. It does all I need and more.
Not a rant, just some thoughts.

Tech is great, it keeps us connected, up to date etc. However there are times I yearn for the ability to be truly and utterly alone. No cellphone leash, so I get where you're coming from.
ReplyDeleteTime alone I can get. It's one of the reasons I drive a truck.
